LH Miami

This feasibility study is for an 85 unit senior affordable apartment building to be developed on an urban infill site within the city limits of Miami Florida. The building is to have a ground-floor mix of office spaces, commercial flex space, community-specific common space, and an attached private parking garage for 75 paces. The project will be outfitted with accessibility standards, industry-standard green building design, including natural noise buffers and dedicated green spaces to mitigate a heat island effect. Articulated features are concepted below to showcase enhanced resident safety and wellness, including a main-entry wheelchair lane for streamlined sidewalk access, noise-mitigating green walls flanking entryways, offset demarcation with security fencing for private outdoor common areas with landscaping and artistic installations to serve duality of resident safety and privacy.
